How to Use the Chat App

Accessing the Chat App

There are two ways to use the chat app:

  1. Direct Link

    • You can open the chat app directly using its unique link.
    • Find the link in the chat app configuration page under the “Share App” tab.
    • Important: The chat app must be in Public state to share the link with others.
  2. Integration on a Website (Floating Action Button - FAB)

    • The chat app can be embedded as a Floating Action Button (FAB) on your website.
    • This allows seamless access without redirecting users to a separate page.

Chat App Interface & Controls

Minified Mode

When the chat app is opened in a compact form (e.g., on a mobile device, preview mode in the configuration page, or embedded as a FAB), it has the following key elements:

  • Main Chat Window

    • Always displays a welcome message (configurable in settings).
    • AI responses appear on the left side.
    • User messages appear on the right side.
    • Chat history is utilized to generate detailed responses and enable follow-up questions.
  • Top Bar

    • Displays the title and description of the chat (both can be adjusted in the configuration settings).
    • On the right side of the top bar, there is a “New Chat” icon.
      • Clicking this icon starts a new session.
      • The chat history is cleared, and only the welcome message is displayed.

Expanded Mode (Desktop & Tablet View)

When accessed via a desktop browser or large tablet, additional functionality becomes available:

  • History Sidebar
    • The sidebar appears after the first conversation.
    • AI automatically generates titles for conversations.
    • Users can switch between different conversations to continue discussions on various topics.
    • Users can delete individual conversations or remove all conversations by clicking the “Remove All” button.

By utilizing these features, users can efficiently interact with the chat app in a way that best suits their needs, whether for quick access via a website FAB or detailed discussions through the expanded interface.
